Good day,
I've been using BlogSpot again for a few days now, and it's only thanks to some CSS programming that I've managed to give this blog a different look.
There are others aspects that make BlogSpot atypical, outdated, and somewhat isolated (and cut off) from the rest of the most popular social networks today. Okay, BlogSpot isn't a social network, but a site for writing articles. However, since it's all about writing, it seems like some tools for managing writing are missing. To put it briefly, I'll list everything that, in my opinion, is missing from BlogSpot:
- More modularity is needed in arranging each blog layout. A more organized, fluid, fast, and user-friendly system for creating and arranging your blog's layout is needed.
- Introducing more features (or functionalities) to make the blog more flexible and usable.
- We need a system (or various programming codes) that allows us to number posts consecutively, allowing us to display the consecutive number even within the post itself.
- We need a system that allows us to export, download (and possibly print) the created post or a specific post.
- We need a system that projects the tags written in the blog outside of BlogSpot to restore BlogSpot's worthy place in web searches.
- We need a system that adjusts fonts by numerical size, not by "Medium - Small - Large." Furthermore, there's always a bug in the text editor that has never been fixed...
- We need a system that allows us to view other blogs and subscribe to other BlogSpot blogs.
- We need a system that allows us to rate individual posts (even from other blogs) and save them to our favorites.
- We need a system that allows us to connect BlogSpot blogs so we can communicate with other bloggers via an internal messaging system.
- Clarify recent policies for NSFW content to be applied on single post (and not on all blog) by introducing a specific inhibitor filter with a selector that can be activated or deactivated (for site members) and always activated for those visiting the site as external users who are not registered.
Let's just say that, overall, BlogSpot is outdated and in need of a major overhaul...
